Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC) is an undergraduate Mass Communication programme. The programme is a degree course of three years duration offered by different universities as well as colleges of India. With the expansion of the Mass Communication industry in the past decade, and more and more media houses, as well as news channels, is coming into the light, the scope of BMC as a course is increasing. In the BMC course, students typically get to study various mass mediums such as radio, television, newspapers, films, online media, public relations (PR), advertising, etc. The course offers an interdisciplinary foundation in the theory as well as skills required to become media experts in the industry. With a degree in BMC course, students can find jobs in different sectors such as radio stations, newspapers, publishing houses, advertising agencies, PR Firms and so on.
Eligibility
The Candidates must have a minimum education qualification of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for General Category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC or should be appearing for the same in 2025.
