GMCET is the first of its kind initiative of GMEC, to standardise the assessment of aspiring graduates of the media industry.
  • The GMEC with its illustrious members from various fields contributes to the learning approaches, tools and techniques, and also in selecting the best entry-level talent in media educational institutes.
  • The Council shall work as a bridge among the three stakeholders: media educators (institutes), learners (trainees) and the industry (recruiters).
  • Council is being established in India, first through a non-profit organisation by Indian law. Gradually it will have national chapters, apart from a global body.
  • Edinbox.com, a distinguished educational portal from India, has mooted the idea and backed it up initially. The portal and its management will have an integral role in nurturing this Council.
